The Mtrix dashboard is where our customers live: analytics, experiment reports, session replay, heatmaps, funnels. As a Senior Product Engineer you own whole surfaces of it — not tickets, surfaces. You take a problem like "brands can't see why a variant won" and carry it from data model to shipped UI.

The stack is Svelte on the front, Node and MongoDB behind it, D3 where the data gets visual. You would be one of a handful of engineers, which means broad ownership, short arguments, and your work in front of paying brands the same week you write it.

What you'll do

  • Design and build dashboard features end to end — API shape, data aggregation, and the Svelte UI on top.
  • Own core surfaces like dashboards, funnels, and experiment reports, and be the person who makes them better every month.
  • Turn dense data into interfaces people actually read — charts, tables, timelines, replay.
  • Keep the dashboard fast as the data behind it grows by orders of magnitude.
  • Talk to the brands using your work, and let what you hear reshape it.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years building web product, with UI you shipped and owned — not just contributed to.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and real comfort on both sides of the API.
  • Taste for data-heavy interfaces: you know when a chart lies and when a table is the honest answer.
  • You default to shipping: small pull requests, real data, follow-through after release.
  • You write clearly — decisions, trade-offs, and PR descriptions people can follow.

Nice to have

  • Svelte, or another compiler-era framework, in production.
  • D3 or other serious charting work.
  • Time spent in analytics, experimentation, or ecommerce products.
